Jean Ven Robert Hal, stage name for Roberto D'Agostino Vendola born 11 May 1970 is an Italian musician, composer of Electronic Music, Kosmische Musik, space music, progressive rock, ambient, jazz, synthpop and orchestral music. ==Biography== As a graduate of geometry, he also studied architecture and design. Approached music and composition when he was given the first keyboard at age six. After a period of neglect and lack of interest he picked up composing in the middle of adolescence and then never gave it up til today! Hal specializes with passion on both the analog sound and digital electronic devices and the use of "vintage" synths with prestigious brands such as Moog, ARP Instruments Inc., EMS (Electronic Music Studios), Elka, Oberheim, Synclavier, Fairlight CMI, Mellotron, a precursor of today's samplers, the legendary Theremin and many others, all musical instruments that have marked the history of modern music. Jean Ven Robert Hal is one of the few representatives in Italy and belongs to the current musical wave of the Kosmische Musik genre with many "cultural" pieces.
